Christmas time at Southam United - supporting our local community
Southam United is getting in to the festive spirit with lots of activities planned to support the club and the local community.
Throughout the month of December and in the lead up to our last home game before Christmas on the 21st December, we'll be working in partnership with the fantastic team at Southam Food Bank to collect donations for those who most need support in the local area.
CEO Mike Davies said: "In times of hardship, I firmly believe the strength of community shines brightest. The current economic crisis has left many families facing impossible choices, putting food on the table or keeping their homes warm. Local food banks have become a lifeline, stepping in to provide essential support to those who need it most. They're no longer just a safety net, they're a cornerstone of communities up and down the UK.
"At Southam United, we believe in standing together. We're more than a football club, we're a community and we have a role to play. That's why we're stepping up to support Southam Food Bank, collecting donations to help ease the burden for local families. Together, we can make a difference, ensuring no-one in our community has to face these challenges alone."
